Little Rapids Corporation Completes $40 Million Upgrade at its Shawano Paper Mill
Thursday, August 08, 2013
Larsen Converting is included in the new Little Rapids branding change.
For many years, we have been pleased to provide custom solutions to you through our Shawano Specialty Papers and Graham Professional Specialty Products business units. Two years ago we added Larsen Converting and its printing capabilities to our spectrum of services.
I am excited to announce that this month we will begin rebranding these three custom products businesses under one name: Little Rapids. Just as these businesses are distinct from our parent corporation image, Little Rapids Corporation, our new brand has its own logo and identity. The Graham Professional brand will continue to represent our medical and beauty Distributed Products businesses.
The rationale for this change is fairly straightforward. As our customers, many of you understand the individual capabilities of our separate businesses. Putting them all under the Little Rapids name gives us the opportunity to showcase our end-to-end capabilities from paper making through converting and printing more effectively.
In addition, we are pleased to inform you that we are opening a new printing and converting location in Green Bay. The new Little Rapids Walker Drive Print Facility provides room for us to expand as well as consolidate our operations from Morrow Street and Parkview Road. We have been working diligently to get the new facility, located at 2970 Walker Drive, ready for business. We will begin operations there in July with the full transition to be completed in 2013.
Our custom products businesses have always shared a strong customer service orientation. Each combines technical expertise with a problem-solving mentality that enables us to create better solutions for you, our customers, whether we are making a finished product or a component that fits seamlessly into your supply chain. By uniting under one name, we can imagine more solutions that combine the capabilities and talents of the broader organization and offer greater value to you while leveraging that common focus on our customers.
This branding change will evolve over the next several months and requires no change on your part. The first public appearance of the new logo will be on the sign at our new Walker Drive facility. While we are excited about this change, I assure you that our focus on providing you with custom solutions that provide value and reliability to your business is as strong as ever. I will keep you apprised of our progress and welcome your input on ways we can partner together even more effectively.
